1978 Campagnolo Nuovo Record - most of a group

LINK TO PHOTOS: 1978 Campagnolo Nuovo Record - Imgur

This is most of a 1978 Campagnolo Nuovo Record group. This group came off a '78 Raleigh Professional with a damaged frame. The only things missing are the seatpost and brake levers. The group mostly looks pretty good, but it is for a rider, not a show bike. Everything has been well used, so there are scratches, a little grunge, a little rust, etc. Because the frame was damaged, I was not able to test this stuff out--it all appears to work properly, however. Some notes on the individual items are below.

Shipping is not included on the individual parts--but if you buy 3 or more items you will get free shipping-- shipping will be by USPS (probably flat rate) with confirmation. Payment is by paypal, buyer will pay any fees.

    Everything is English threading.

    STILL AVAILABLE:

    Crankset
. 170mm. 51/42 rings. This looks really good, a few scratches. Has dust caps AND original fixing bolts! $100 (make an offer if you want me to break this up for the caps or bolts) (Buying the crankset counts as 3 items, so you'll get free shipping.)

Cable clips. Don't see these every day. Nice condition, too. $20

If you need one, I think I have a downtube cable guide somewhere, too, but I will have to look, it wasn't part of this group.

    SOLD:

Brake Calipers--SOLD. These look nice and have the original cable adjusters. The front has the original Campagnolo pad holders, too. $50

Hubset--SOLD. 36 holes. I have replaced the bearings and grease, and the hubs feel smooth. Surfaces look good. I did a quick polish of the shells, and the shine came right up, you could do better if you want to spend a little time on them. Includes correct skewers. $70

Front Derailleur--SOLD. Seems to function properly. A little surface rust, but looks good otherwise. $25

Rear Derailleur--SOLD. Seems to function properly, probably wants new pulleys. One is cracked. A little surface rust, but looks good otherwise. $40

Pedals--SOLD. These are the roughest piece of the bunch, with scratches, etc, but they seem totally fine functionally. $60

Headset--SOLD. Surfaces look good, still has the original bearing cages, chrome is nice. $50

Bottom Bracket--SOLD. Surfaces look good, still has the original bearing cages. $40

Shifters--SOLD. Looks good, rotates smooth. Little rust on the bolt. $25

Beech333 is first in line for pedals, FD and brakes if no one decides they want the whole group and the 10% discount.

Thanks, Mike. You're first in line for that.

BUMP. I am going to open this up to selling individual parts since I got no takers on the whole group.

Henry, someone is in front of you for the calipers.
