Thrifty Bill's Inventory Overload Reduction III 21 inch touring frame set

This is a nice, 1984/1985 Nishiki Cresta touring bike, in a 21 inch frame size. It has full braze ons for three sets of bottle cages, front and rear racks (mid fork mounts), and front and rear fenders.

The frame tubing is double butted Tange 2.

There are the usual scratches and scrapes, no dents, no rust. Rear spacing is 126mm, Came with 27 inch wheels. I am including the headset (as found, needs service and cleanup, or possibly replacement), front and rear brake cable stops, front and rear canti brake calipers, seat post (26.6mm), seat post binder bolt, and baraze on mounted Suntour shift levers.

It could use some touchup, or just build it up as it sits. Chain stay has the typical chain slap marks.

Top tube and chain stay length pics are below.

$150 plus reasonable shipping continental USA. If you pick it up, I'll throw in a few extra parts!

If no one wants it, I'll build it and market it ready to ride.

Shoot me a PM with your email and I can send you more pics.

Why do I want every 80's touring bike that I see? Thankfully I don't have the space for another one.

No longer for sale, building it up today. Will be on the market as a complete bike shortly.

What you can't see as found is that the brakes didn't work, bike did not shift gears, etc.

I saw this on your FB page Bill, had no idea it had been for sale here before that! Great job.
