    1978 Raleigh Competition f/f

I'm continuing to go through my bikes and sell off ones that don't fit or don't get ridden that much. I'm considering passing along my 78 Competition. I think it's 23" c-t seattube and 22.5" c-c toptube. The paint is typical of the year, silver w/ some rust stains/pock marks but no real crust of dings/dents. Chrome is in decent shape (one funky spot a few cm long on the non-drive seat stay) but could use a good polishing. I'll post some pics tonight

I'd like $125 shipped in lower 48 for the frame/fork.

    SOLD!

That's a heck of a deal! BTW, these frames makes excellent 650B conversion candidates.

I had a '79 and I should never have sold it. If this was an inch smaller I'd probably buy it. One of the best riding frames I ever had. Mine could just barely fit 32mm tires, and I really enjoyed riding fatter tires like that with the quick handling geometry of the frame.

My six year old tabby cat just jumped up in my lap and told me I am crazy if I don't buy this frame. All joking aside, please get a for sure measurement on the seat tube, and barring any big size differences between your guesstimate and actual size, consider it sold! If it's a 23.5" (59.69cm) which it looks to be.,,,,BD

That is, if it's not already sold. Just realized how old the ad is.

The one good thing about black cork wrap is that it's better than nothing.
