I sold a pair of these on ebay, in less time, in worse shape, for more money. This is a strange venue to sell in sometimes.........

^ agreed. I paid more for the one pair I have, and I like them a lot. So I'll take this pair.

    PM'd.

Please educate me, what makes these pedals bring such a high price?
Now I guess I'll have to tell 'em

Pedals have been sold to the member who PM'd me yesterday.

Sorry, Alan, I should have updated the thread yesterday.

For starters they're of exceptionally high quality. Everything about them is done well, nice castings, smooth sealed bearings (rubber seals not cartridge). They're reasonably light weight and they're wide. Wide equals more comfortable.

While doing research I found many references to these being made by MKS, nothing definitive, only speculation, but they scream 'Made by MKS'.

Yup. Wide without the pointy quill is key. I'd have bought these but I've gone to the dark side (SPD) recently.

I have these on my tandem. Two pairs. Really nice. Jim, you should delete this thread so we don't keep bumping it with completely useless commentary.
