WTB Campy 9 speed stuffs and etc
FOUND AND SEARCH IS OVER!!!
[strike]i know it's a long shot, there can be plenty of choices varying from 8 spd classic to 11 spd modern,
so i've made a decision to go with 9 speed Campy for my next build— Bianchi Reparto Corse.
in search of drive train:
· Record Crankset '90s 9 spd (4 spiders + 1 hidden arm + alloy version) + possibly matching BB.
if BB doesn't come with it, willing to go with a Phil or Cobra or etc.
· Record or Chorus 9 spd Derailleurs + Ergo shifters. also considering Racing-T (not Race-Triple or Comp-Triple) 9 spd index compatible.
and some other bits such as:
· 27.2 seatpost. aero, carbon Campy or Look Ergopost
notes
· NOT interested in Athena/Centaur/Veloce/Daytona at this moment.
if it has to be that path, i can easily find a modern Veloce or Centaur 11spd group *new* at pretty affordable price.
· i do have a wheelset to start from.
· i do have brake set, period correct Chorus double pivot.
· headset, stem, handlebar and saddles are set.
not too much keen on the esthetic quality as long as functionally sounding.
would like to go with 'resourcefulness' route while i can try, first.
many thanks in advance for leads, infos and resources. no need of rush, btw.
thanks![/strike]

I have some the bits you need in Chorus flavor, Brifters, Derailleurs, Crankset, and BB, excellent condition, I can pull of this Olmo I just acquired. Sadly the rear wheel has a crack.
If you can settle for Chorus, let me know.

Just out of curiosity, can you ballpark me what a group like this goes for? I'm considering a similar build and eBay seems all over the place.

You have to look at sold items but even then prices can be crazy.

Especially when you can pick up a brand spankin' new Athena group for $550 or so.
FWIW I just sold a set of 8 and 9 speed Ergos this morning. Astonishing is all I can say.
The new owners are very, very happy though, as the Ergos looked factory fresh.

I hope KonAaron Snake is OK with my pricing. If not I'm sure he'll chime in with a bit of wisdom.
