Campagnolo Victory.... What do I have here?

Yesterday I picked up a free Univega Italia Sport equipped w/ Campy components. Not
familiar with the Victory Gruppo and I have a few questions for the experts out there.

First the RD.... seems like a touring type with the long cage....Was there a Victory touring RD?

Or is this something else?

The brakes have a little white leather ? thingie..... what the heck is that?

And the pedals....are the blue nylon straps with the button and spacer O.E.? or an add-on?

Apologies for the appearance... haven't done any cleaning or polishing until I decide what I keep
and what I sell

TIA for your input

Or is this something else?

The brakes have a little white leather ? thingie..... what the heck is that? I think they are Triomphe brakes (hollow capnut) and the leather thingie is actually cardboard and it is meant to keep the adjusting barrel in place while the brakes are being shipped. For some reason millions of these were simply left on the brakes.

Can't wait to see more. Does the FD have a mucher larger inner plate? That would make it a Leisure also. Check velobase.

I'm not an expert but all 3 look like Triomphe to me. I believe the toeclips/strap are OE to the pedal. Those go for about 100 USD on Ebay alone.

Right! I turned around and looked at my Triomphe RD's bolt style and wrote Victory anyway.

Thanks guys.... I was just going by what the previous owner told me.... I think Triomphe is right.... Cranks are square taper with a NR type dust cover, so they're
not Victory as well.....

Thanks BG.... I forgot all about Velobase * head slap * Although I can't find a long cage rear derailleur there.

Been a busy day.... I picked up 4 bikes yesterday.... that was the deal.... I had to haul away all 4 to get the Univega. Started the day having
to clear out ~ 6" of wet snow, and then I started tearing down the bikes.... my head is spinning.

Thanks for the help.... I think I'll have a beer (or 3) and let my head clear

Cheers

I had Triomphe on both an entry-level Ciocc, and a Univega Ital Sport. I had them change out the pedals for quills. Seemed to work OK, marketed at folks who couldn't afford Super Record but still wanted Campy.
