SS BMX cog on freewheel hub
I was wondering if it would work to by a SS bmx cog (Dicta Brand 20T 1 2" x 1 8" Freewheel | eBay) and just screw it on to a freewheel hub to go single speed. I would use some spacers/lockring to get the chain line correct. Pls let me know if this would work. Thx

Yes it will work. The threading is the same.

The dish might look weird, but it will work.

As others have said, it'll thread on just fine, but your chain line will likely be off. Ideally, you need to respace your rear axle and re-dish your wheel. For more info, see Singlespeed Bicycle Conversions.

Yep it works well but is best if you respoke the wheel

When I did mine, I just juggled spacers to get the cog on the hub to line up with the inside chainring of the crank and then redished the wheel to center the rim. It didn't require different spokes, just careful readjustment.
