Ah, I misread this mystery thread. The pug threads are prevalent mysteries, but the threads are not themselves mysterious.

Oh, yes they are. Halfway through the length of the threads they reverse direction. I've never figured out how the French do that.

Those titles seem reasonable to me, especially if posted by a relative newb.

My general suggestions for ID help thread titles, when the brand is what is unknown and what is being sought in the first place, would be to at least narrow down the genre (road/cruiser/track/etc.) and vintage ("50's"/"60's"/ "50's-60's?", e.g.), along with any prominent clues, if available, e.g. "french components"/"french threading"/"huret dropouts". Such information might help mobilize the appropriate experts, and possibly help future newbs (& old hands?) when searching.
