Help identifiying Miyata? bike serial?

Hi, iīm from Argentina, this is my first post.

I need help identifiying a bike. The seller says itīs a Miyata, and send me some photos, obviously itīs repainted and with non original components, but I still want to know if the frame is original. This are the photos, sorry about the quality, itīs all iīve got.

It says Miyata engraved in the fork, but I donīt know anything else.

Thank you very much for the help!

Welcome to BikeForums!

Well, at least the fork is from Miyata. The pictures are so bad they are unusable to help ID the rest of the bike.

Getting the serial number will help a lot.

At best, the ONLY thing a serial number on a Miyata tells you the year. It tells you nothing about the model. There is a long, long thread detailing Miyata's serial number scheme.

Some components, Wolber Super Champion Rims, Shimano Exage Motion brake levers, Shimano SLR brakes, Shimano Golden Arrow crankset, 7 speed, Shimano derailleurs.
A frankestein or did they come like this?
