^Same here.... depends what's sporting lights, early dawn ride, etc.. No other reason but now when I think of it, usually rotate on a weekly basis. Then again, I tend to gravitate to this generic RRB that blends into the landscape. Comfy, swift is complete with paint scars and duct tape, Shimano 600 stuff that never needs adjustment.

Here's what i ride every chance I can. It always makes me want to ride farther. And now that I've retired, no more commuting, but "weekend rides" can happen just about any day!

It's got to be my Barecci. Doesn't do anything really well, but I find it comfortable, nice riding, reasonably quick, it's got some pizzaz(IMHO!)and the Campy group shifts like buttah!

I'd be doing this thread a disservice if I didn't include my wife's Trek:

While I posted my go-to ride earlier, this is our family's most go-to ride. She has ridden it as a daily commuter at ranges varying from 4 to 13 miles one-way, in both Portland and Tucson. It has our family's single-ride distance record (75 miles, El Tour de Mesa), most overall miles, and is a supreme all-around bicycle. It's pretty clear Trek took their top-of-the-line hybrid very seriously.

It's known as "the Great Grape," or alternately, "Honey Badger." It's also my first real drop-bar conversion.

Oh, and that sticker on the fork? My head tube angle is slacker than yours.

Other Peugeot

This is my daughters Peugeot Mixte, I share with her in order to have an excuse to keep the bike! Went out this morning an I'm amazed as to the ride! Wow, now that's a keeper. Fortunately my daughter will probably ride less than a dozen times and the rest will be my secord goto bike!

The Peugeot is not original, wheels Mavic with Campagnolo Nuovo Tipo hubs, 1st generation Dura Ace Crankset and 1st generation Dura Ace Brakes with Sach's Duopar rear derailleur (replaced it with Shimano 600).

g-c, that Peugeot mixte is really nice!

It keeps occurring to me that my GoTo bike depends on where I need to GoTo. If it's just to GoTo the gym or some local store, I'll take the Peugeot or the Bertin or maybe the Raleigh. If it's to GoTo work I could ride anything unless it raining in which case I'll take the Peugeot. If it's to GoTo the other end of a nice country road I'll take one of the speed bikes. GoTo is such a versatile concept!

Geeze, I guess I gravitate towards the same bike I've ridden for almost 40 years - the '75 Fuji S-10S...

I really need to take some fresh pics of this bike....
