I know nothing about Benottos but they are listed as a classic old brand. Stronglight chainset which is nice, but steel headset and not great condition. Ad says it's 1970s, and has pantos and stamps naming it. Any opinions out there?

This is what I've come across. Being in Mexico, Benotto is generally what turns up, so I've made a bit of an effort to familiarize myself.

Having slept on it, it's a no. That and it's 600km away. I'm looking for something to build in to a SS or eventually fixie, so although a candidate, not quite the right one. Thanks for the info folks!
