1984 Miyata 610 and a new modified Brooks B-17
One of the benefits of working PT @ a LBS is the employee discount! So the other day my Brooks B-17 Special arrived in the shop. I opted for the Special because I wanted the copper rivets. The next step was modifying it with a cut-out. I did this to one of my other Brooks saddles and I find it makes it more comfortable. The pattern was supplied by a cyclist in New Zealand. Took it out for a short ride and made a few angle adjustments. Now for the fun part, riding and breaking it in!!

While a fan of DIY, cutting a Brooks is not on my list of things to do. Don't they make the B17 Imperial that has the cutout?
