Lot more Morini in England than here if you want to pick one up: I get half my parts for North Leicester.

I saw all the fine italian steel you had up for sale on CL: nice stuff and too bad. You pretty much should just do yourself the favor and keep the tomassini.. and give the pinarellos to me.

Collecting is a pathology. Trust me, I know.
I was a vinyl hoarder as well...aided by lots of time in college radio. Eventually I had enough and got rid of nearly all of it...I prefer having my 300 gigs of music on hard drive.

The oldest is the tobacco card of Deacon Phillipe cut out from a 1916 Hassan Triple-Folder card. It's showing in that first pic, lower left. There are a few 30's, several 50's and 60's. I collected as a kid in the 60's but destroyed most by B-B's and bike spokes. The greatest number is in the 80's when I started losing interest in the hobby. Thanx for asking.

I think I collect bicycle spokes. For some reason I have a 30 gallon tote overflowing with them. Sizes ranging from 3"-12", someday I'm gonna organize them.

I have a knack for posting these right as the page turns. Drums are approximately C&V, some cymbals are w/o doubt.

Ummm, would you believe my Mother... It's true. She was born in Gettysburg, PA - that might have something to do with it. She gave me the small ship's cannon, and one of the Napoleon fieldpieces. I located the second on at an area G u n shop. The one on the right is a repro of an L Francis Herreshoff 10Ga saluting cannon. The first three use loose black powder, the last a 10 GA blank. There's a few more, but they're the cream of the crop. As you might guess there's more than a few funny stories...

Drums are also works of art....could you imagine that paint on a bike?

I have a bunch of old cameras, mostly 35mm but also a few TLR and medium format folders.. Like old bikes, everybody dumps them for the newer technology, even though they work as good now as they did back when. I have rarely paid more than $10, and that frequently gets a bag of accessory lenses with the deal.

I also have several slide rules. Last year, I took one into work to use during an plant shut down, and the young guys all laughed at first. When they saw how quick it was to multiply and divide, they wanted to learn more.

Yes indeed. Really nice, Peugeot Mongrel.
I don't collect these. But make them to sell. Leather awl hafts, to the leatherworkers who use a diamond shaped blade, for saddle type stitching. I don't make the chucks. For those I use Starrett pin vises.
For collections…where do I start?

Pocket knives. Not a serious collection. Just a few examples of NOS Case XX from the 70's.
