Cool.
It's times like this that I wish I was in politics do I could flip flop about something important, but (alas) I am totally unelectable.

Talk of the timing. I thought it was today.
Took one of the youngsters out for a start at the golf course. Wearing flip-flops of 'course'.
Then, I had an annoying rear wheel hop from an egg shaped rim. So, just as I overstressed it and started truing, snapped two of the vintage spokes on the drive side. Arghhh. Started over, replaced the two and now riding fine. But sure thing, one thing leads to the next and the sole to my sandal flipped out and off it came. LOL
(Ps. RHM, recognize the hub?)

My fixed-gear sports a flip-flop hub on which both positions are always occupied, but I've only once flipped the wheel around during a ride to use the other cog. I can always get to the end of the ride on a 71" gear.

Flip flop day is every day for me in summer or when the weather abides. Sorry don't own any flip flop hubs as I'm not much of a SS or fixed guy anymore.

Today is also my son's half birthday. Maybe I'll get him half a cake. Or maybe I won't.
I would post post a pic of my commuter's Phil Wood flip-flop but the bike is in desperate need of an overhaul and I would be embarrassed for it to be seen here. Picture in your mind a nice shiny one.
