Did a home-made radler with Sapporo and Italian grapefruit soda; turned out ok. Later had a Weihenstephaner Vitus. I know, not exactly July 4th material, but it's all I had in the fridge.

Ate dinner out at a local Outback (our first chain-restaurant meal in some time) and, sadly, they apparently no longer have Cooper's (they used to have it but not on the menu, you had to ask).

Blue Moon was NOT an adequate alternative.

Nyargh. Sorry to hear it. Cilantro is a terrible thing to put in beer.
Great for fish tacos, but Blue Moon is gross.

We killed 2 growlers of local (San Diego) Hess Kolsch, then moved to rye-manhattans with this lovely new vermouth from Torino, and Luxardo cherries.

I ran out of Yuengling cans midday on vacation, and needed to use this new koozie. Only bottles we had left were Corona's.
