AG2R la mondiale winter jacket
Hello guys,
I recently received this ag2r jacket as a gift and I'd like to know some more about it. From what I know, the previous owner used to ride in the semi pro french corcuit back in the 80s and his brother worked within the pro teams. He received several gifts and this was one of them. It is a riding jacket although very very thick. I assume it was a winter training jacket. Anybody has more info about this? I think it's from the mid 2000s.
Also, I bought a 1991 trek lite bike helmet at a thrift shop for $4. It came with box and papers, barely used. Any more info on this?
Thanks!

Bikes: No-name LH drive track. Also ride an Exxon Graftek, a Masi, a Trek R200 or a RR Boneshaker for fun!

My experience with vintage bike-related clothing is that the value is based either on a specific tie to a rider (usually by their autograph on the item), or less often by someone with a specific team/brand collector fetish.
The helmet is quite nice but be aware that this design was found to not perform well in crashes since there was no outer shell to slide along the pavement - soft shell helmets tended to twist the neck muscles on impact.

Again, thanks!

I am not necessarily looking for valuw but rather more information about these. For example, year and purpose of the jacket that is being posted. Also would like to know what kind of helmet the Trek is, a racing, aero etc etc helmet? I know these are very generic questions but I'd like to know as much about these products as possible since I really have no idea... I'm a young kid .
The jacket is from a French team currently in the Tour de France, usually you can tell the year by comparing the graphics to those worn in a particular year, since the minor sponsors often change.
It's likely an outer garment that might be worn on a chilly day or when preparing to descend the Alps in a race. Value: check eBay "sold" listings.
The helmet is not aero, just a "standard" type helmet. Again, any likely value is to a collector of Trek memorabilia where you might get $10-20.
Don't get me wrong, they are nice things, but the value is limited by the low numbers of bicycle ephemera collectors out there.
