85 Team Fuji Crank Question
I recently obtained a 52cm 1985 Team Fuji frame from a friend. He has the original Suntour Derailleurs and shifters which I will receive in the next couple days. So far, I had a chance to work on the headset and bottom bracket disassembly/reassembly. The bike obviously had been sitting around for a while as the grease/lubrication was a bit waxy, brown and smelled like color crayons (kind of weird, but it did).
Anyway, while I was working on the bottom bracket, I was removing the old grease and noticed the crank size didn't match up with what was said on the Classic Fuji website. On it is Sugino A-LP (vice AS-LP) and were printed with an arm length of 185mm (?) So, I could assume that the original owner changed them, but when I measured them, and they were 185 from the end of the arm to the center, and 175 from the center of the pedals to the center of the crank arm spindle...Does anybody know if they may be the same crank, just labelled/marked differently?
