I have a male and a female, brother and sister. The female is very quiet but the male makes up for it. He can be quite loud. He's a good cat though and has a great personality.

Hi RonFranks, I can't argue with your logic, there are many new components finding their way onto classic frames - the saddle you like is fine especially with the components you are using. They will only add to the ride experience you will get from the frame.
I must say that I really appreciate your willingness to respond to everyone that adds to your thread and your friendly manner. A true gentleman.
Yes, I own 7 Colnago's - the root of that little problem established itself way back in the 80's when I simply couldn't afford one - haha. I've since made up for that! I've never owned a mountain bike - you've beaten me hands down there. I still don't own a Colnago as lovely as yours either.

Gary, thank you for the kind words. You seem quite the gentleman yourself. I can't imagine owning so many bicycles. I feel like I have enough wheeled vehicles as I own two bicycles, two motorcycles, two cars, and a tractor. Thinking about it now, I should get another tractor to even things out. . .

I hope you guys can help me with my front derailleur adjustment. I'm trying to get everything perfect and have found it quite fiddly. The rear derailleur is adjusted perfect as far as I can tell. The front works as it should but I can't get it to click three times like the instructions say when shifting up to the large chainring. It clicks twice and further movement shifts the chain up to the big ring but I never get the third click. I've reset everything from scratch several times and turned the barrel adjuster but nothing will get me to a third click. Thoughts?

Thankyou and...yes...a second tractor would be an obvious choice to keep your trend going. I've never owned a tractor but I have a soft spot for the little Fergies. They seemed to be on most farms in the past here in Australia and seemed to perform well above their 'weight division'.

Epicus07, thanks. Yes, I've fiddled with it so much I don't think it's ever going to work per the instructions. When I adjust the high limit screw out enough to get a third click, the chain drops on the outside of the front chainring. It's amazing how simple it should be and how complex it actually is for such a simple device.
