Campy n00b question - is it a frankencampy?

I was the lucky recipient of a lovely Mondonico last year - thread on the bike.. Throughout the year, I've been working on this bike as I'm riding it. Short story, I have a squeak/grind noise from the drivetrain - we've rebuilt the rear hub and cleaned and inspected the jockey wheels. The chain is not stretched but has a lot of lateral play in the links. My mechanic suggested replacing the chain, and I like the idea since the chain is likely 20 years old and I have no idea what kind of care was given to it over those years. My mechanic asked me to ID the number of gears on the cassette, as I did this I noticed that not all of the components appear to be from the same group. This isn't totally shocking, the original owner said that he bought the bike from a bankrupt bike shop clearance. There are parts that clearly don't belong with a Mondonico, like a Specialized stem. Let me know if this is a frankencampy group on my Mondonico.

Since I'm a little dumb, I'm going to add another post with the pictures, I can't get the pictures to paste into the first post of a thread???

Here are pictures of the components, there are both Veloce and Mirage comments. I think these are from different group sets, right?

Mirage was the lowest end 8 speed Campy group and Veloce was one step above it. In modern (Shimano) terms, I'd put them at like Tiagra and 105. They should play nicely together once you get the chain sorted out.
