Raphael Geminiani serial numbers / dating??
I just rescued a forlorn and long forgotten Raphael Geminiani from the "freebie" pile at the local co-op. Off hand, does anyone know if there is any system to determining the age of these based on the serial numbers?

in previous threads on these the knowledgeable have stated them to be contract builds.
there may have been more than one vendor.
serial numbers may prove a tangle.
owned a quality early sixities example but cannot recall any information regarding serial.
