A PX-10 in my size (62-64cm) with 175mm Stronglight cranks

A gold Lambert in my size.

"Oh Lord, won't you buy me a PX-10, my friends all have Colnogos, I must make amends...."

I know this feel. I ride with the plebes and their midrange production bikes. I want a carlton huffy for that exact same reason. I'd ride with those huffy badges displayed proudly.

I'm all excited about picking up a really nice Schwinn world tourist this weekend. It may be vanilla, but at least with the Shimano front freewheel system it will be amusing, and handy for my stop and go commute..

Or you could be like @Johnny Mullet and proudly ride your J. Huffington Huffy.

From the thread currently above this one, it sounds like my grail bike is a late 60s Gitane Tour de France.

My ultimate grail bike is a 1983 Trek 620 (22.5) with perfect original pewter/light blue paint.
Probably not in existence.
If I did find one I'd spare no expense building it up.
For now I am building up a pretty nice 620 I bought here at BF's

I remember reading that article when it first came out. Since then, I knew that was the bike of all bikes to have in a collection. Regrettably, it will never be so.

I've been thinking about this...probably a JP Weigle. I can't justify buying a new one, and you almost never see their owners sell them.

CDM's Passoni, a 50s De Rosa and a 50s Cinelli also are doubtful.

I never cease to be amazed at the numbers of bike builders there have been through the years.

I really think you'll find one of these eventually.

Our very own VonRuden found two in world record time.

Lol, unfortunately I may sell the larger one as it's a tad too big for my liking and I need to pay off the Krampus black ops.

Pity it's too big for me. I could take care of that matter tonight.

As for the Black Ops, you are in for major fun. It's an exceptional machine. I keep going back and forth between that one and an ECR.
