Forum search function?
I was looking for a post from a couple of days ago, but the latest posts function shows my last post as over a week ago. Anyone else have issues on the functionality of the forum search?

Yeah, it was being weird for me too. I looked up someones latest posts and it said the last one was 2013 even though I was looking at a post by that member from today in another tab.

The search is not working properly right now. The IB techs are working on it. You can use google with the "site:bikeforums.net" option, but in your example that's not much help unfortunately.

It will be fixed at some point. My understanding is, the last time this happened, it took a while.

Exactly! The site's search feature has always left much to be desired. When I want to search here, I use Google.

If it's one of your own posts, have you tried going to settings>subscriptions, and then looking at the threads you have subscribed to? If you post a ton, or it's very old, that's not helpful, but I've used it to track down posts of mine (or at least threads I've posted in) before.

I get to say this because I'm a paid subscriber. And I have never found anything I was looking for using this site's search function. Gave up after 8 or 10 tries.

I couldnt access the search function at all over the July 4th weekend. Some of my more recent thread starts arent showing. Google works fine for now.

Search function here generally is VERY VERY VERY bad...and getting worse...it would be nice to have a decent/functional search capability...
