Interesting find on Toronto Craigslist
I'm almost tempted to jump on this one myself, but if someone else gets to it first, I won't feel too bad.

Still learning
Only NOS until the moment you ride it. Those grips aren't original. Overpriced IMHO, particularly when my red bike, acquired in metro NYC, only cost me $75.

Wald basket on the front and you have a solid, nice looking grocery getter or neighborhood cruiser.
Someone will love that.

+1 on it being too spendy (even for Toronto). Very shiny, though, even if the bars and saddle look like just random stuff thrown on.
BTW, We have a dedicated thread for CL and eBay finds.

Maybe someone thought they might realize a better price in TO than Québec City, eh?
Notice the 'Centre du Bicycle Ste Foy' sticker on the down tube, a retail operation in the QC suburb of that name, presumably where the bike sat 30+ years "uncompleted".
It'll catch someone's eye before long, most likely.

I love the "Hi-Ten" frame sticker. Pretty much removes any doubts.

I went looking for that thread you linked before I posted but didn't find it. I thought it used to be a sticky.

Seems like an overpriced low end bike with pretty paint to me. Agree with the others...pretty or not, it's pretty basic transportation.

If you love it, and there's lots to love about this bike, price is meaningless. The regret of not buying this bike will be enduring. buy it!

Raleighs, in my mind, from that era are of very poor quality, compared to earlier offerings. I have looked closely at such bicycles, and, NOS or not, not a chance I would spend more than a few dollars on such a low quality steed.
