Bike Swap Richmond Virginia September 6

Oh no! It's time for our yearly bike swap at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts! Spaces, admission, and all that troublesome stuff are once again free. There's an email addy in the poster below, or you can PM me for more info

(Yes, I know it has been awhile since I've been in here. Don't ask, it's long, boring, and tedious. Has nothing to do with anything related to any of the excellent folks on this site, or with prison, or alien abduction).

If this is an annual thing, I'll plan a visit around it. Not this year, of course; I just got back.

The real beauty of this play, aside from the fact it was made by my favorite team, is that it was perfectly executed. The receiver ran a perfect route; Wilson threw a touchdown pass, and the defender played his part perfectly. A thing of beauty.

Hmmm ... Any local bike rides planned around this event? Richmond is not too far from Raleigh, and I have a lot of unneeded parts piling up.

This is the fourth annual one.

Should have one next year, yes.

I have a daughter who's a freshman at VCU this year. Seems like I'll need to go visit that weekend.

Any further details? How will they handle the set-up by vendors prior to opening, etc. etc.? Does one need to bring a table? Book a table? Anybody know?

Anyone planning to "do" a table?

Spaces are free (email the above addy or PM me). However, you'll need to bring your own table, chair, etc. Set up? We generally start that a bit before the show. It's just off Grove Avenue, so load in/out is pretty easy. If it rains, we're in the parking garage, which makes it even more ridiculously easy.

I think it's time, and Mrs. T said OK.
I've got to line up parts for a couple of builds, and get rid of everything else.
    And I mean gone.

Still in negotiation with the family over details, but I plan to see you there.

    Cheers!
