Around here, there is a large fleet of stone/gravel trucks - everything from semi's to triple-axle dumps to smaller dumps that have the cabs painted pink, so I guess I'm immune.

Saw an old post of yours and was wondering how you were doing. Ha, if you have any spare empties, I could use storage. We call that piggy-back around here...

I wear lots of pink shirts. You'd be surprised how masculine it looks when worn well. Pink was a boys' color in the early 20th century. I have no idea how or why girls co-opted it.

I went back driving Intermodal (train only) containers for J.B. Hunt and I have really been working my but off. I have been working 6 days burning up most of allowed 70 driving/working hours. I am trying hard to get my hourly rate up and replenish my bank accounts.

As a result most evenings I don't get home until 1830-1900 or a little later and all I want is a shower and some sleep! So not too much internet time most nights.

If you have a question or want opinion, which I am always happy to give, to hesitate to mention me or even PM. Email with lots of info and pics is good too. Bianchigirll@yahoo.com

OH its bedtime already!!
@Bianchigirll ... just saw this thread...and glad to hear all of the above!

If I had to hazard a guess, my guess would be a movie (maybe animated) from the 1930s (when color first became widely available) which was extremely popular with little girls. Snow White was released in 1937, though I don't think she wore pink. Glinda the Good Witch in the Wizard of Oz seems to have been dressed in a rather pink gown. Maybe a Shirley Temple movie from that era?
