I think we should rename the Post your Ironman... for the love of 80's paint jobs thread to Post your Ironman... for the love of Robbietunes

I have had both. The RB1 was a 93 and a real pleasure to ride. It was extremely stable on descents, that was my probably my favorite thing about it. Though I could never get 100% comfortable due to the long top tube they were designed with. My Ironman is an 87 and will probably be the last bike I ever part with, if I do so living.

you asked the wrong people if you wanted someone to talk you out of it. But you can put me in the majority opinion: I have 5 bicycles, and my ironman, while the least expensive, would be the keeper if I was forced to live with just one bike. In my case it is the one that fits my every day needs the best and puts a smile on my face every time I ride.

I use mine to commute-- so its a great reason to get out of bed and go to work!

Of course you do.
You always did.
Just didn't know it.
Go forth, enlightened.

All good things come to those who wait... and then pounce at the proper moment.
