Fenders for 27-inch wheels?

It doesn't appear that any company actually makes fenders for 27-inch wheels anymore. Does someone have a set in good shape which would work on my wife's Motobecane Grand Touring mixte? It has Pasela 27x1-1/8" tires. There seems to be a decent amount of room under the brake bridge and fork crown. Thx...

I've got SKS Chromoplastics on my Trek 720- they fit well. I have not gotten the Velo Orange Zeppelin or Facette fenders to fit well on the front of 2 bikes.

That's sad if true. 27 wheels are still going around at my house.

If you say so. The only trouble I had putting SKS P45's on my Super Sport is that the fender hole in the steerer was drilled off center.

I picked up NOS chrome Wald fenders last year and have no use. They would look really nice on your wife's bike. Let me know.

The difference between 27" and 700c is not big enough to matter. That's even true with 650a or 650b. If you stretch a fender out by the overall diameter, it will get a little narrower, that's all. A fender that fits over a 700x35c tire will fit over a 27 x 1¼ tire no problem. Whether it will fit between the tire and the frame, or under dual pivot brake calipers, is of course another issue.

I used NYC Tour fenders on the Moto below. Same year? Mine has 27x1 1/8 Pasaela's as well. They're a good fit with decent clearance and were easy to set up. I can't find them listed through a quick search, but it looks like they may be the same as the Plant Bike fenders:

https://www.amazon.com/Planet-Bike-Fu.../dp/B003Q05BBY

I did have to get creative with the plastic mounting bracket at the rear brake bridge to get even clearance.

What @rhm said. It doesn't matter if it's labeled as a 700c fender, it'll cover a 27 as well, depending on tire size and frame clearance.

Pretty much any Velo Orange aluminum fender will fit 27" wheels. May or may not need a little reshaping.
