Saw this in a CL ad. It looks like an early dual pivot?

Well if the performance of these calipers is not inspiring the name is certainly impressive.

To me, the name Altenburger sounds like a type of German cheese, and Synchron sounds like a wristwatch made in the 1970's, so...

On the other hand "DOOra-AHchay" sounds kinda silly to me, too.
