My lovely wife gave me a V neck sweater, in pure cashmere. Ummmmmmm.......soft.
To go along with some cashmere and wool long johns she brought back to me from China.
Not that I need them so far this winter though. It was SIXTY SEVEN degrees today.
Amazing. If a bit scary.

I was gifted a mouse pad printed with a black and white photo image of Eddy racing with another rider on a Colnago trying to hold his wheel. It is clear enough for me to identify components on the bikes.

Ah, very clear now. The M1A is actually the civilian version of the M14, the NM is the match competition version. Very similar action to the M1 but shorter fore-end and gas tube mount.

I was NICE this year. I got a NOS 2012 Pinarello FP Quattro and a cool Shaver Sport Allez Jersey

New FP Quattro shown with my '88 Catena Lusso. Picture was taken Christmas Eve. No pic of the jersey but I added a pic of it in one of the best movies ever made. If you look close you can see a bow on the stem of the FP.

You'll love the 2012.

I rode one in Tuscany four years ago.

It was a real champ

And, I carried an M14 in Vietnam, back in 66...... LOL

Still a good shooter, even in military clothing....

Mrs Doc and my daughter were very generous: set of Shimano 540 SPD pedals, Cateye 300w, chrome plated bell, SealSkin gloves, bunch of cool t-shirts.

Present to self: practically unridden '83 Medici Pro Strada with Super Record. Bellisimo!

I love Richardson Bike Mart. They were great when I was at UTD. And then more recently when my bike was stolen in Houston, they looked up a serial number for a bike I purchased there like 7 years ago. An impressive group.

From my sister-in-law and nephews... it will find a home on a set of my handlebars somewhere. I like the sound of that.

Recently got myself a new Lenovo Flex 3 tablet/notebook computer. It's nice but........
Just a heads up, watch out for the HD 520 graphics driver that Lenovo ships their new computers with these days (Including, I think, the Yogas). It tends to crash repeatedly when you scroll up and down with your mouse, especially when browsing in the internet. The graphics card/driver recovers within a second, but it is very irritating when it disrupts your work on the computer. Might have something to do with less than perfect interface with Windows 10. Weird thing is, the Lenovo computers fail when you run their resident hardware diagnostics. Something that has to do with graphics card "mathematics" processing. Lenovo notes that it sis something that owners will not need to worry about, but it is frustrating when you run the test and results come out as "Fail" and that there's a "critical" problem detected...... If Lenovo does not have a fix in the coming few months, I will seriously think about returning the Flex 3 and going with a different brand instead (HP, Asus or Toshiba?).
