Bikes: Miyata 610(66cm), GT Vantara Hybrid (64cm), Nishiki International (64cm), Peugeot rat rod (62 cm), Trek 800 Burning Man helicopter bike, Bob Jackson frame (to be restored?) plus a never ending stream of neglected waifs from the Bike exchange.

frame id by lugs

A cool lightweight frame was donated to the bicycle Exchange last Sat. No Identification but a high end light steel frame with braze ons for 2 bottle cages and another one under the frame for a fuel bottle. It had a mix of parts including a Campy seat post, cinelli stem and bars.

The lugs are rather plain but have a cut out of a long legged heart on top.

Based on the lug design any clue as to mfg.?

By the braze ons for water bottles, that sounds like a touring bike of some sort, especially with one underneath. I'd assume the chain-stays are long.

De Rosa, Mercian seem to have some hearts cut into lugs: see https://www.bikeforums.net/classic-vi...rame-lugs.html and check images, I get on a bing (or google) search images for heart shaped lugs.

It sounds like a few companies did this.

If there are pictures they are the kind you visualize in your imagination. I'm having trouble with how a heart-shape comes to have "long legs", or any kind of legs...but I guess I just lack imagination.
