Sizing rim strips?

Recently purchased Sun M13 II rims, listed as 622 x 13mm inside & 20mm outside

Do I need to find a 13mm rim strip? or will 14 mmm work?

TIA

i use those rims, and either of your choices above will work fine.

i prefer 10mm, though. (cotton tape from ebay.) there's little reason to use too much tape.

my lbs only stocks one size, and, if i'm in a hurry, i will just use whatever they have.

i think 14mm will creep up the rim wall, but won't touch the lip if you center it properly.

Just cover the spoke holes and you'll be fine. I'd think 10mm would do. If the holes are offset R and L, you may want a wider one.

Best to get it right. Zefal 13mm rim tape fits those rims perfectly, and they are easy to find.

If you wanted to cheap out, 1/2" rim strips would work, but I don't like them for high pressure tires.
