I very much like the Mongoose pedals that came (from the previous owner) on my Stumpjumper- I'm using them with clips, but they're double sided and would be swell without clips.

Back from before Mongoose made BSOs.

Throttle is the model.

Heres's a few more. I have a set of each of the DMR's on my trail bikes and they are excellent, extremely grippy pedals. The v12 is a thinner profile and a bit wider/grippier.

DMR V12: https://road.cc/sites/default/files/s...?itok=bKEm3CVK

Not as wide a platform, but grippy and classic styled.

I tend to have strong aesthetic opinions and tendencies. I will say, in person, the VO Sabot pedals look cheap. They are large, so if you have big feet that is a plus. They just don't have any heft or balance to them. They remind me of a tin can. I don't mean heft in that you want a boat anchor of a heavy pedal, but you want something to feel a certain way when you hold it. These pedals lack that.
