650B Schwinn Voyageur Project
Just got this back today and will be building up over the next week or so.
I bought this frame recently at a local swap for $30 and had a framebuilder I know braze in new canti posts to fit the 650b wheels with modern brakes. He also got rid of the three top tube housing guides in favor of two housing stops, and spread the rear triangle to 130mm.
I'll be building it up with a mixed 9-sp drivetrain (bar-ends) and a TA cyclotouriste double. It will get powder coated soon, but I want to ride it first. I'm thinking something like the Bruce Gordon "Rust" color.

Looks nice. I might suggest removing the pacenti decals as they don't quite look right with those tires. Black rims, tan sidewalks and black tires would look good.

That frame seems like a great choice for a conversion, from my limited knowledge anyway.

I don't know, I think these came with 27 x 1-1/8 or 1/4. The 584x42 Hetres fit easily, and I'll stick with that for now because this is a parts bin build. Rock n Roads might fit too, but it will be close at the chainstays.

I'm mostly +1 on taking the stickers off. Although, there is kind of a neat look when you also have Pacenti tires installed.
