I made reservations.at the Symes in Hot Springs - Fri thru Sunday. It is nice to have a home base for the entire w'end. Extra bonus are the hot springs.
If you aren't camping, reserve your rooms early.
My son is rooming with me. He'll be driving up from Denver and riding his Mercian Olympic. I'll drive from North Bend and be riding my '37 Hobbs.

I'm sure I'll be coming along - and staying for Friday and Saturday at the Symes - but I'll not be riding this year. I'm hoping to help out. I'm bringing tools and spare smalls; chainring bolts seemed to come adrift with alarming regularity in 2014 when I participated
I'll also bring the Sparrow (if it hasn't sold by then) for viewing/test rides!

I'm probably coming in Thursday morning. Hang out, ride in the area of a couple of days before the ride.
Still debating about which bike. It is Cino Cinelli's 100th birthday. The Cinelli would be most appropriate. But I really like the Frejus. More of a challenge.

Heh...I'm grateful that you noticed I was missing some that year. I learned my lesson though, last year I put teflon tape on them.

Is it closed to car traffic in September, or do you have to dodge traffic?

I will sag if my friend Dave does not break his toe again! Honda 90 stepthrough and a Captain Anerica helmet should work. Going to try to add some fun in as well, maybe release some rattlesnakes on the course or stampede some cattle. Almost as good as helping the farmer catch his goat in 2013. Frisky dang critter....

Just realized I don't have a place to sleep/stay on Friday or Sunday night. Saturday I'm at the Alameda.
Anyone have a room to share, or ideas on where I can find a bed?
