Finally got to ride with a stoker today.. we did a lil off-roading too I think the 1.75" tires are a bit too small for two people; I would like to try the new Compass Rat Trap Pass tires which are like 2.3".. super fat slicks! These tires ride fine but especially when off road I think more air volume under us would help.

I removed 1.75" T Serv tires from our Tandem and replaced them with Tioga Powerblock 2.1. Great improvement.

Let me know when you get bored with your Skyliner and I will recycle it for you.

What and where did you get the saddles?

Thanks

Wow, that's just what I've been looking for the last year, a level tandem. Great bike!

Sorry for interrupting, but I got one of those 1980 Turbo Selle Italia saddles, from Amazon a few weeks back, it is a good, comfortable saddle, and it won't break the bank.

https://www.amazon.com/Selle-Italia-...0+Turbo+Saddle

If you don't mind brown or white, it is priced at $54.99, amazon.com/Selle-Italia-Vintage-Turbo-Saddle/dp/B0178GLNM2/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1467288591&sr=8-2&keywords=Selle+Italia+1980+Turbo+Saddle (which is what I got the black color for.) It is well worth the money, and I am 100% sold on them.

it actually does slope just ever so slightly downward, but compared to most tandems it looks like a level top tube
