Suntour Compe V on Peugot Mixte Help...
So, I'm finally getting around to installing the front double, thumbies, and Suntour Compe V (thanks, greg3rd48) front derailleur. But, of course, I am stumped... I think I've learned that it's a "high normal" FD. I know I need some additional housing... but where and how? I've got an additional cable guide slot on the bottom of my bottom bracket, but for the life of me, I can't imagine how to get this sucker to work. I imagine the housing activates the FD? But how? Argh.

First photo shows a Suntour Compe V on a Nishiki - using a cable housing stop on the down tube.
The second photo shows a Shimano MT60 on a Trek, with under bottom bracket cable routing. The MT60 mechanism pulls down from the cable stop bolt, so no cable housing is needed - it can run clean from under the bottom bracket.
The Suntour, on the other hand, needs a cable housing to pull the mechanism - the cable stop bolt is fixed. So I think you need a cable housing stop on the downtube and route as shown to make the Compe V work.
Others may have different ideas, but I knew I had one of these in the garage to photograph.
BTW, I really like what you are doing on the bike
