Do I count the Strider and the bike trailer? Does the tandem count as mine?

1972 Schwinn Suburban (neighborhood cruiser, rusty and crusty, but mechanically flawless)
1970 something Royal Regina (I can't find any info about these, but free is free and makes a great single speed cross bike)
1978 Raleigh Competition GS (The pride of my stable)
1979 Raleigh Sports (the Comp and Sports years might be reverse, I can never remember)
1986ish Peugeot retromod commuter
1992 Miyata Seven21 (on the chopping block to sell)
1993 or 1994 Schwinn Prologue (Currently not assembled - I need to get on that)
1996 Proflex 756
2000 something or other Trek Soho SS
2014 Cannondale Trail 7
2014 Cannondale Synapse

I've downsized some older mountain bikes and just sold my Kabuki Submariner. I have a women's Trek 830 I am currently working on as a project bike to make into a 1x8 city cruiser. That will get sold off. Wife has 2 bikes.

1973 Raleigh competition (currently in pieces)
1980's gas pipe tawainese beater

Hopefully I will soon be adding a 1970's Viscount Aerospace, complete with death fork (to be replaced) and weird BB setup.

Oldest to newest:

'75 Fuji S-10S -- bought new and still riding it!
'84 Univega Gran Tourismo - 'new' dedicated touring bike
'84 Univega Viva Sport - 'new' go-faster
'86 Miyata 710 - in AZ at my mother's house to ride when I'm out there...
'89 Schwinn Woodlands - beater 'pit bike' for use at the local dragstrip -- so ugly no one would steal it!

Others? Not sure....

The 'Mutt' looks to be a Raleigh MTB, Nitto 'Bull Moose' bars, but no decals or stickers anywhere... Never did determine what/when it is....
Huffy MTB - who cares???

Wife's bikes -
Sears-sourced Schwinn women's-frame 12-speed is from around 1990 ridden a grand total of three miles since new....
Sears Women's Free Spirit 3-spd (garage sale find) who knows how old, and odometer reads 65.5 miles

My "accumulation" (hard to call it a collection) - has quite a few examples of bikes that would make up a typical Tuesday night Criterium lineup in Anytown USA circa 93 or 4 ---- I started cycling in 1989, around 93/94 is when I started taking racing seriously (I don't anymore) -- I guess I just like the old crap I was exposed to in that era -- LOL

I hate thinking about it -- but I will be 45 y/o in 2 days (July 9 ) --- I have been chasing the cycling dream to an extent for 27 of those 45 --- sobering - one shouldn't start adding things up too much I guess (as I know a lot of you guys' have me "outclassed" regarding years in , but i'll be there soon enough )

Its all fun n games till someone gets hurt though

I was admiring a matte black Specialized Roubaix S Works yesterday at my dealer's place in the repair stand -- My guy told me it really did ride like a dream and was effortless to shift with D-A Di2. I just told him, "I know i'm not that old yet, but that state of the art machine just isn't my style even if it makes me look 20 lbs slimmer and knocks .6 mph off my 10 mile TT times"

--- LOL -- he stated he knew as he rolled my 8" travel Yeti downhill rig out of the back after some maintenance ---- I don't hold any sentimental attachment to old mountain bikes whatsoever - but a nice Chris Chance or early Klein would always be welcome
