Raleigh triumph grand course.
Hi, I am new to this and I honestly know very little about bikes. Recently I lost my job and needed $ , so I took my bicycle to a pawn shop. I did get $100.00 loaned to me. I've heard my bike is worth at least 400.00. I do not want the pawn shop to end up with it. I have 51 days to pay the loan.Any feedback is welcomed. I'm trying to just sell my bike. Thank you

Welcome to the forum, sorry to hear about your job loss. Try posting an ad on Craigslist and have a look at similar bikes advertised to get an idea of market value.
Good luck!

Did you steal it?
How does somebody who knows almost nothing about bikes come into such a collector's item?

Lol, my mother gave it to me. She recently had to go into a nursing home and tsitting
Thank you for your concern but my mother gave it to me. She recently had to go to a nursing home. The bike has been sitting in the garage collecting dust since my stepgrandfather passed away.

Well, this thread will likely get moved to the C&V Valuation forum, but in the meantime, value really depends on condition, size, components, your market, and a bunch of other things. Raleigh sold those (assuming you have what I think you have) as frame sets only, so how someone might have built it up would really vary. Fwiw, I have a 1984 Raleigh Gran Course, and it's a very nice bike. And I could probably get around $400 for it with the components I've used to build it up.
