Rat bike
Bike that has the frame only original part from a 10speed 58cm finnish touring bike from '79.
Tunturi Retki 10.
Chainring 45T, BMX freewheel 17T
Saddle: Selle Italia X1
Brakes: Weinmann Vainqueur long reach with Weinmann semi-automatic adjustment
Calibers: Dia Compe
Drop bar: SR Road Champion
Stem: SR 70mm
Pedals: Union, can be maintained, removable dustcap
Seat post: Tunturi 22mm with expander muff 24mm
Wheels: Handbuilt, not a pair, front has Simplex quick-release
Tyres: Continental TourRide 28-622 puncture protected
Mudcovers: Biltema
Chain: Biltema single speed chain
Bartape: Biltema (actually quite nice and very good hold in rain)
Bell: Tunturi (from another bike)
Cable hangers (3): From another Tunturi model
Reflectors: You could get these for about 50cents a piece at one time
Original frame lock with one key
Fauber BB
Rear fork ends have been filed to take off little knots, so that there is more room for adjusting chaintension.
Dirty because it is used mainly on rainy day/winter rides. Chain looks to be a little loose in these pics.
