Stronglight headset seal replacement
I have a Stronglight headset in otherwise good condition but which has a cracked plastic seal. I don't have a picture handy, but it's the same as part "D" on the diagram of a Record headset below, except myheadset uses needle bearings, if that is relevant.
It's basically cracked horizontally straight across the ring. So two questions:
1) If the crack is straight across, is the headset usable as is? The seal gets squeezed in there anyway, right?
2) If not, is this part replaceable? Are these universal at all, or will I need that exact headset part, which seems kind of impossible.
I get a better pic when I get home.

If it's the bottom seal that is cracked, I'd just swap it with the top seal. The bottom get the most crud build up, and a cracked seal on top ought not be a problem.
