My Other French Bicycle...
Well, with a bit of luck, this time tomorrow evening I will be playing with my newly acquired PX10E. Thinking about that, I pulled the Motobecane Grand Jubilee off of the wall, checked it over and off we went, down the cottage road that borders Loon Lake.
I set the Motobe up as a Gent's Bicycle(my name for the style) and have been using it primarily for short hauls to and from here and there at the lake. Since it is about to become my other French bicycle, I thought I would show you what has proved to be a very rewarding upgraded vintage bicycle...

I like these red and black Motos and I like what you've done with yours. Are those black dura ace ex hubs? How do you like them? Is this a reynolds or Vitus tubeset for that year of jubilee?

Just nice! And you are the perfect Gent for it. Wise to have 2 such nice French bikes but set up quite differently.

I'm afraid that you may be disappointed in the Peugeot. I like Peugeots, but they just don't measure up to Motobecanes. Peugeot got sloppy in the seventies when they were cranking out too many bikes. Motobecane kept their standards high.
Your bar and brake lever angles look very comfortable. So many people get that wrong.
