Show off your 1990-2000 schwinn..
im just looking for some inspiration on fixing up my Schwinn Peloton.. and i was looking through the 1980 Schwinn thread and though perhaps if i could see some nice 1990 - 2000 or so era Schwinns i would light a fire under me to get this project going... here is mine.. just a simple schwinn Peloton nice group but nothing super special just DA 10 and some Velomax easton Circuit wheelset.. nice 853 tube set.. i know the 1980 had the american made wonder bikes.. and i wish i had one.. but the import schwinn were not all bad..
here is mine..

I have a '92 Paramount that is a repaint of a repaint. Not much to look at but a very nice ride. Full 105, except the hubs, which are tricolor. I don't think I currently have a picture of it. Panasonic built.

Ummm, what's wrong with the current setup? I'd finish it off and ride the heck out of it.
If it helps though here's a gallery of my old 1999 Circuit which shows the stock build pretty well.

there is something that is just calming about a simple bike with a nice single panel on the downtube..
it swims hard against the stream of today's market driven use of bikes as billboards and just general tacky style.. it just makes a little sick to see what today's modern bikes look like when you compare them to something that is even just a few decades older.. but i guess thats the definition of retro grouch.. but.. when you have a freaking carbon wheel with 50mm deep with a marketing campaign spread across 75% of the available surface then... its starts to look more like a candy bar or a cola can than a bike mho.. nope i like a bike that looks like a bike... nice circuit!
