Disremembered?

Oddly, BikeForums "disremembered" me yesterday. I opened the site and had to log in. After logging in, every thread and every posting is new.

Just saying...

Happened to me about 4 days ago, except in my case I ended up having to log in a dozen times or so over the course of the day. Everything was back to normal the following day.

The good thing was I finally got a peek at that "ask a question" pop-up so many have recently made remarks about.

Weird. Luckily your post counts don't seem to have been affected, otherwise the Crapmaster would make you build back up to 150 to play the BOC game.

Yeah everything keeps showing as new for me to over the last two days. At first I was all giddy because I had a bunch of threads to read, but quickly realized that bikeforums is just jacked up.

I had similar happen about 10 days ago for no reason, and I know I didn't clear my browsing cache or anything of the like.

Then I forgot to check the 'remember me' box for three or four logins and kept having to login again.

BF forgot which recent threads I had read and which I hadn't. I figured it was because they had to restore some data after that newflangled computer virus attack, non-Something or whatever.

It did this to me two days ago. Every time I opened a new thread I had to sign in again. Very annoying but that was the only thing different. I never log out and just keep a bf window open, and it's set to remember me (desktop).

I tried logging in on my phone yesterday to get a members info while I was out of the house, and every time I logged in it would say "thanks for logging in blah blah blah..." and then sign me right back out after that message.

I'm still seeing everything as new/unread. When I read a thread in the session and go back it loses the bold but I'm guessing if I close out and come back it it will be bold again. Having to resort to checking the last update dates on threads to keep my place.

Correction - everything appears unread back to 6/19 and threads I read yesterday are not bold.

VBulletin releases occasionally have issues. I had a similar issue 2-3 days ago also, but it seems to be straightened out now.
