Almost had my hands a beautiful Univega
She out the bike up on Offerup to be sold, I informed the buyer I'd like to buy on Offerup for the price immediately. She doesn't respond for a day. Suddenly she responds today still available. When I'm getting out of a meeting I respond I'll be there in a couple of hours. She responds back, 'sorry bike is sold'. I was so hurt. She had loads of other vintage road bikes too and sold them ALL, all for cheap prices. The Univega was going for 30$ I think it was a Univega Competizione, suntour components, everything working. I' lost a little bit of my soul today.

Don't worry, it happens. It's happened to me a few times. You'll get over it in a day. There will be more out there.

This happens all the time...best perspective is realizing that there are others out there, so keep looking.
