Jeunet Road Bike

Yeah I got a Jeunet French Road bike. It is a little old and was wondering the age of it. It had Simplex components and Marfic (SP) brakes. It is really nice and great as a Single Speed. How old...any ideas. A close picture of it:

Is that your bike??? Looks like a Jeunet marketing pic from the 70s.

I'd take a guess and say '69-'73... does your bike have the TA crankset?

That's the T.A. Cyclotouriste crankset in the picture. An awesome crankset, read up at Sheldon Brown's site about it. It has a very low Q factor and a very good selection of gears as well as being very high quality.

Mafac centerpulls are still awesome brakes, and much used.

I like the chrome details on yer bike! ciao!
