have a like-new '80s-ish General Sprite. Is this a Raleigh?
tube mount falcon indexing... lugges steel frame...
Any idea??

I believe that this a General brand bike, a low end bike made in the mid 1980's. Raleigh did manufacture a bike model named the Sprite, in the early 1970's, but way before index shifting. As far as I can remember Raleigh never used any Falcon parts on their bikes. If it is a General branded bike, I would not put much money into it-very basic bike.
