New user Raleigh question

Hi,

My name is Tom. I have not rode a bike for years but recently I decided to enter a local race for 50+ adults.
I have just begun riding an an old bike I picked up years ago at a flea market. When I went to get it a tire fixed at the local bike shop, they informed me this is a good bike. It is a Raleigh "Record" buillt Nottingham, England (probably in the early to mid 70's).

I believe the serial number is G5 67602, also on the bottom of the bike, it is also stamped K .

It is in pretty good riding condition but I am trying to learn as much as I can about the bike and bringing it back to the original condition.

If anyone could help me I would appreciate it

Tom

Actually the Record was a pretty mid-level 10 speed, not a 3 speed. The site you want for more information is:

https://retroraleighs.com/

I identified the model year by matching my Raleigh to the components listed in the catalog, as well as the photos. If you can, post a picture, so we can see it.
