razesa

I recently restored a spanish Razesa frame. Columbus tubes, it was once a nice bike but had been badly abused. It has the remains of a 600 arabesque group on it with various up/down grades. I creamed the paint and rust off and then clearcoated and rebuild with mostly suntour cyclone parts friction etc. I am guessing this bike is somewhere around 80-83. Anyway it looks great, but for some reason it has a bad heart. I know it sounds crazy, but do you guys ever find a bike that just doesn't want to live anymore? I am thinking that it was abused for too long and now it's just mad, but I am at my wits end about what to do to uncurse it.

What are the symptoms? Maybe it's as simple as replacing/repacing the bearings and putting some good tires on it.

Hmmm, possessed items seem to have a mind of their own and do not repsond conventionally. Have you checked the frame and fork alignment?

clearly a case of demonic possession. Send me a hundred dollars and the bike and I'll sequester it securely so that it doesn't do any damage (its all right, I've been professionally trained...)

OK; so what don't you like about it? I've got one from '85 that's SLX, and while I've never ridden it, it's very nicely made.

Is it: too stiff, too mushy, too twitchy, too sluggish...?

can you post some pictures? can its reflection be seen in a mirror?

(seriously, I'd like to see some pics - I have a thing about restoring vintage paint jobs and would just like to see the bike...)
