70's Royce Union "stingray"

Royce Union made a Stingray style bike in the mid 70's. I had one and it was the coolest, what with the 3 speed handle grip actuated shifter and drag slick. If I remember correctly, mine was metallic grey, eeeew sweeet!

Anybody have any pics or info on these?

I had a Royce Union "Mini Chopper" in the late sixties. It was their standard orange frame with white trim on the head tube, and it had an awsome set of chrome forks. On the down side, it came with handlebars that were flat and about 18 inches from end to end. I replaced them with standard high rise bars. I also put a larger sprocket on the coaster brake because it was too darn hard to pedal. The forks were cheap, too and tended to bend outward.

I do remember the green three speeds. They used the Shimano 3.3.3 and a click-stick shifter.
