Vintage Kawamura on E-Bay

Is it the high or low point of Japanese bicycle design?

Frame quality looks low. Kawamura (Nishiki) made junk and really eligant and beautiful bicycles. Interesting collectable but certainly wouldn't want to ride it.

hook on a couple of gunneysacks, and you can start your own recycling business, in style! I know this is gonna start a debate, but I'm pretty sure that the front fork has taken a serious hit, so if anyone is feeling slightly out of their minds, be sure and mention it to the seller...

I think your right about the front fork. After you mentioned it I went back and looked again. Somethings not straight. I have to admit though I was in awe of the front rack and those 100,000 candle power off road front lights. They would be perfect for my after dark commute on the trail when someone comes along blinding me with their HID headlights that are aimed too high.
